Sarah Lonetto, also known as "Tomato," was part of the group that went on the famous spring training trip to Cuba in 1947 and was part of  South American tour in 1949.  A rare switch-hitter, she also played for the Bomberettes in her hometown of Detroit from 1944-1946, prior to joining the AAGPBL.
