The Racine Bells were the second Wisconsin team in the inagural season of the newly founded league. The Belles played strong for 8 years until the team disbanded after the 1950 season. Notably, the Belles had a powerhouse team their first year with the best pitching staff in the league led by Helen Nicole who led the League with an awesome 32 wins and only 8 loses with a 1.81 ERA.
