Miss Rita Ann Keller of Portage, MI, died Saturday, August 6, 2005 at Bronson Methodist Hospital. Rita was born January 21, 1933 in Kalamazoo, MI, to Albert and Hilda Marie (Maurer) Keller.

Rita was an office clerk for Parker-Hannifin Corporation for 35 years, where she later retired. She attended Southern Heights Christian Reformed Church, and was associated with organizations such as the Kalamazoo Lassies (AAGPBL: Girl's Professional Baseball Association). Rita also volunteered at the Kalamazoo Gospel Mission and was a quiet supporter to those in need, but most of all, family was first in her life.

Preceding her in death were her parents; two sisters, a niece, and two nephews. She was survived by four sisters and many nieces and nephews and one great-great-nephew. Services were held at the Southern Heights Christian Reformed Church.  A private interment was held at a later date.
