"Skeets"  played only one season with the AAGPBL in 1944.  She began the season with the Milwaukee Chicks, moved to Racine, and finished the year with the Kenosha Comets.

After leaving the league, she played in the West Allis softball league and enjoyed speed skating.

Marie V. "Skeets" Kazmierczak of Three Lakes, formerly of South Milwaukee, died January 4, 2000.  She was 79.  She was born February 14, 1920 in Milwaukee, WI.

Mrs. Kazmierczak was a former employee of the Eagle River Ranger Station.

Survivors included two sisters.

A memorial Mass was held January 8, 2000 in South Milwaukee at St. Adalbert’s Catholic Church.

Private Interment was at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery in Cudahy, WI.
