Georgette Vincent was a decent, dependable pitcher who accomplished the rare feat of lowering her earned run average as the size of the AAGPBL ball shrank over the years. She was a mainstay in the South Bend Blue Sox rotation during their back-to-back 1951 and 1952 Championship winning seasons. She took 1953 off to get married and briefly returned to pitch a few games in 1954.
