"Duckie" played for one year with the Rockford Peaches where she won a starting position at second base. That year she had the opportunity to go to Havana, Cuba for spring training. She remained active in sports all through her life, being involved in many ASA Fast Pitch Tournaments at the regional, state and national levels as a player and umpire.
