Ann B. Cindric, 88, of Pittsburgh, formerly of Muse, died Saturday, December 18, 2010 in Holy Family Manor, Pittsburgh.
She was born in Jere, West Virginia, September 5, 1922, a daughter of John and Catherine Yuric Cindric.
Prior to her retirement, she worked at Lafayette Manor, Inc., Uniontown, PA. She played professional baseball in the All American Girls Baseball League, and played softball in Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia. She played the button box accordion with the International Button Box Club, was a member of SNPJ Lodge 138, Strabane, and was a Dominican Missionary Sister.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Mitchel, Nick, and Mike Cindric.
Friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 in the Sollon Funeral Home, Ltd., 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, J. David Sollon, supervisor, Phillip L. Sollon, director, where services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m.
Interment will follow in the St. Mary’s cemetery, Cecil, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Holy Family Manor, 301 Bellevue Rd., Pittsburgh, PA, 15229, in Ann Cindric’s name.
