MURRAY, RELLA A. (Swamp), Born January 5, 1924 in Appleton, WI, and passed away December  16, 2004 in Ft. Myers, FL.

Rella was a member of the Oneida Tribe of Indians of Wisconsin. Miami resident 1946 - March 2004. Ft. Myers resident March 2004 to date of loss. Preceded in death by husband of 54 years, Julian , J.J., Murray. Survived by three daughters, a son, six grandchildren, and a brother.

Rella was a Marine Corps. Sergeant, a member Rockford Peaches of the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League. She was also a Bowler, a Packer Fan, a Heat Fan, and a sports enthusiast. She was a Life-long traveler and adventurous spirit who had life-long friendships with childhood neighbors from Appleton, WI and with Miami neighbors and the many bowlers at Bird Bowl in Miami. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation and services were held Dec. 20, 2004 at VAN ORSDEL CORAL GABLES.
