1950 Springfield Sallies | First Base | ? |
My favorite position was first base. Favorite manager: Mitch Skupien; Favorite chaperone: Barbara "Bobbie" Liebrich. I learned about the league through a small artcle in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette newspaper announcing try-outs. I learned to play baseball from my father. My most memorable experience was playing in Yankee Stadium prior to a Yank vs. Philadelphia A's game.
