 According to Emil Buehner, a family friend, Georgia was born in September  1926 and graduated from Syracuse University in the late 1940s. Later she earned a master degree in business. Buehner also noted that Georgia was an excellent accordion player who, along with her sister, Jean Campbell, received several youth trophies in that regard.

Georgia Campbell Ventura, 77, of Syracuse, NY, died on May 5, 2004 at University Hospital. She graduated from Syracuse University with a degree in chemistry and worked until her retirement in the Biological Research Department at SU. Survived by a son, a daughter, and a sister, (Jean Campbell Ianuzi of Chesapeake, VA) five grandchildren; and many foster grandchildren.
