Frances H. "Sliver" Sloan, 62, of Miramar, a 7 year resident coming from Miami, Florida, died Wednesday, June 24, 1987. Born and raised in Miami, received her x-ray training in Illinois, retired after 28 years at Jackson Memorial Hospital as chief x-ray technician of the Outpatient Clinic. Survived by a companion, a sister, a brother, four nieces, and two nephews and their families. A funeral was held Friday, June 26, 1987, with Alfonso Murray, Jr. of St. Agnes Episcopal Church of Miami officiating at Fred Hunter's Hollywood Memorial Gardens Home. Donations to Hospice Care of Broward County were requested.
