"Lee" had a lifetime ERA of 2.76 in five seasons with the Kenosha Comets and the  Ft Wayne Daisies.  At 18 years of age, in 1943, her rookie year, she posted a 19 win season with a career high of 103 strikeouts. While playing for the Daisies she and Dottie Collins made a great one-two punch. Lee has several no-hitters to her credit. In the off-season she enjoyed doing golf, dancing, basketball, hockey, tennis, badminton, horseback riding and table tennis.

Elise graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 1947.

Elise J. Harney passed away in Ann Arbor, MI, November 1, 1989 at age 65.  She was born July 22, 1924 in Franklin County, Illinois.  She was buried in Bethlehem Cemetery, Ann Arbor, MI.
