According to Emil Buehner, a friend and classmates of Jean's, she was born in December 1927 and  was very active in girls softball and played semi-professional in that capacity.  She was enrolled as a student in Syracuse University in 1946. Other interests were music. She was a talented accordion player and received several player trophies.

Jean E. (Campbell) Ianuzi, 76, of Chesepeake, VA passed away August 18, 2004, in a local hospital. Born in New York, Jean was the widow of Dr. John Ianuzi. She was a member of Elizabeth Manor Golf and Country Club. Jean was survived by three daughters and five grandchildren.
