Geraldine Guest started playing softball in the Flint, Michigan area in 1946 when she turned 15.  She played Class B and Major League Softball before joining the Peoria Redwings in 1951 after she read about the AAGPBL and asked for a tryout.  She worked in a spark plug factory and also played basketball and bowled during the winter months.

Geraldine Guest "Gerry" of Arcadia, Florida, formerly of Flint, MI, age 56, died May 7, 1987 in Florida.  Memorial services were held May 16, 1987, at the Lennon United Methodiest Church, Oak St., Lennon, Michigan.  Memorial contributions were requested to be made to the Humane Society or the American Cancer Society.  Mrs. Guest was formerly employed by Edward Brothers in Ann Arbor.  She owned and operated Gerry's Pamper Parlor in Arcadia, Florida. Surviving were one brother, two sisters and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and many friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents.
