Tribute to AAGPBL at Wrigley Field 100th Anniversay

To honor The All American Girls Professional baseball League for their contribution to Wrigly Baseball History at the 100th Anniversary at Wrigly Field Event on June 6, 2014. Ten former players from the League attended a Special Night Out at Wrigly. The Chicago Cubs MLB Club gave away 20,000 bobblehead dolls to spectators at the game. The doll depicted the AAGPBL players in skirted uniform. One player from the 1942 Racine Belles, Betsy Jochum and one player from the 1954 Grand Rapids Chicks, Jeneane Lesko, threw out the first pitch(s)- representing all the teams from the beginning of the League in 1942 to the final year of play in 1954. Several players from various years in the League, led by Dolly Konwinski, were given the honor of singing the Baseball signature song "Take Me Out To lhe Ball Game" from the Announcer's booth. All the former players were treated to hot dogs and a great hard-fought baseball game with the Cubs winning in overtime over the Marlins
